The Start of Something Beautiful

I'm sat at my desk with a satisfactory selection of technology at my reach, kind of, yet they are no longer are of any interest to me what-so-ever. I was thinking a few weeks ago that I wanted an iPhone, then this week I wanted a netbook after Ebuyer landed a tasty offer in my email inbox for an Acer Aspire One at a reasonable price of £149.99. Now that I have overcome the urge to buy a netbook I am constantly searching Ebay for a good deal on an iPhone (one urge that has yet to abandon me)... even if I don't have the money, I can dream right?

So I've got an iPod Touch sitting below my monitor (no, having an iPod Touch is not a reason to hold off getting an iPhone, stop telling me it is!), a DSi to my left by the keyboard which I should buy an Acekard for so I don't have to pay £30 for a game that consists of pressing A to make an Italian plumber jump on a turtles head - I still love it with a passion, however. Then on my right I have an iPod Video 30GB which is almost never used since I got my iPod Touch, which is 16GB by the way. The clickweel on the iPod Video was spawned by Satan after Steve Jobs sold his soul for some retarded patent. I hate it if you hadn't noticed; I can never seem to reach the song I want when the selection bar (can I call it that?) moves at about 5 songs per minute movement of the clickweel. Next to the iPod Video is my phone, a Nokia 5800. I have a lot of bones to pick with my phone, as you will see when I get around to writing a review on it... expect it to be bias, the last phone I had was the Samsung C300 so there is literally nothing to compare between the two.

Ok, so I was lying when I said my gadgets are of no interest to me... but there are so many gadgets I have yet to of snapped-up that I no longer look at what I've got but rather at what I could have. I'm not one to deny that I, like many others, am addicted to having the latest technology. Maybe I should start saving in advance for products that don't even exist yet, but then it just won't be as fun, there won't be the feeling of suspense and envy which drives me to keep buying the latest technology. I'm a tech-whore.

Anyway... this blog will probably be read by very few people and I don't expect a large audience. It will be like a public diary which I can use to record my thoughts and actions, if you enjoy it please follow me. Whoever linked you here, give them a high-five for me.

If you'd like to contact me please do so via moose.island[at]gmail.com. I am open for questions concerning anything, but that doesn't necessarily mean you will get an answer.

Btw, Chuck Norris knows why you spend a large amount of your time on the internet. But would you REALLY try and get that information from him?!
